At Samyak, we believe that true wellness begins with mindful nourishment. Our culinary philosophy is deeply rooted in the ancient traditions of Ayurveda and Yoga, emphasizing the harmony between body, mind, and spirit through balanced, wholesome, and sattvic (pure) food.

Food in Ayurveda

सात्म्यं मनसि संतोषं वित्तं सत्त्ववतामिह।

युक्तिसिद्धं च भैषज्यं सुखायोपपद्यते॥

Sātmyaṃ manasi saṃtoṣaṃ vittaṃ sattvavatāmiha।

Yuktisiddhaṃ ca bhaiṣajyaṃ sukhāyopapadyate॥

The food that is wholesome and suitable (Sātmyaṃ), brings contentment to the mind (manasi saṃtoṣaṃ), wealth (vittaṃ), and is logically proven to be medicinal (yuktisiddhaṃ ca bhaiṣajyaṃ), leads to happiness (sukhāya upapadyate) for the virtuous (sattvavatām).

Our Ashram offers a wide array of vegetarian dishes crafted to nurture and rejuvenate.

 

We strictly adhere to a sattvic diet, which means our meals are free from onion and garlic, ensuring they are light and easily digestible.

This helps in maintaining mental clarity and emotional balance, essential for deepening your yoga practice and overall well-being.

We pride ourselves on using fresh, locally sourced fruits and vegetables, from the farms of our local community.

By supporting local farmers, we ensure that our ingredients are not only of the highest quality but also sustainably and ethically grown.

This farm-to-table approach (not everything is sourced from the local farmers though) ensures that every meal you enjoy is packed with the goodness of nature, free from harmful chemicals and pesticides.
